EECP FUNDING 3-4 YEAR OLDS – UNIVERSAL 15 HOURS
Wandsworth Council provide funding for Early Education Childcare Places, Universal 15 hour for 3 and 4-year olds, for up to 15 hours per week, 38 weeks a year. A child is eligible for the EECP Universal 15 Hours the term after they turn 3.
Little Wombles nursery will automatically apply to Wandsworth Council, on behalf of parents, once a child turns 3 to claim the EECP universal 15-hour funding which is then deducted from the monthly invoices. The funding provided does not cover the total cost of your Childcare.
Your 38 week entitlement is stretched across our 49 week year, so you will receive equal funding across each month within the year.
HOW DO I RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR THE UNIVERSAL 15 HOURS?
The EECP funding will be paid directly to Little Wombles. You will be required to sign the “Parent Declaration” form from Wandsworth council stating that you are receiving this funding in line with your entitlement. This is a Government requirement and must be signed each term.
EXTENDED MEANS TESTED 15 HOURS (30 HOURS)
Some parents will be eligible for the Extended 15 hours (making a total of 30) funding. Parents themselves need to apply once their child is 3 with HMRC www.childcarechoices.gov.uk and complete the on-line application form. You will be supplied with a 13 digit code which you need to give Little Wombles to authorise the funding, along with the National Insurance number and the full name of the parent claiming to confirm entitlement to the free place.
HOW DO I RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR THE EXTENDED 15 (30 HOURS)?
Exactly as per the Universal 15 hours.
Please note that funding levels for the future are subject to Government decision.
Invoicing and making payments
Invoices are prepared and sent out by email 30 days prior to the new month. Full payment should have cleared within Little Wombles account by 25th of the previous month otherwise a late payment fee will be applied.
